So remember my alien beloved Crepe de Chine? I saw this designer duo
there. And look at their web page
there. I am in love with the designs and the presentation. Particular in this pieces... I will wear them all, so pretty!
So I made some sketches of the blouse I will like to have and this are the two end ones. It depends how much fabric I will need in order to choose which one I will be making. But I will definitely make them both I think... Already some ideas swimming in my head...
What do you think? Will it work out with the fabric?
Geri,
ReplyDeletelove the sketch! Will be a beautiful and very fresh blouse.
Wouaaah! I love the sketch too. Go on girl I think it will look fab'.
ReplyDeleteI love it, too. I thought maybe it would look more interesting with two types of fabric, like combining this one with a solid colour - a bit like the second to last model. But that's just an idea I got when looking at the pictures. :-)
ReplyDeleteI wanted to try this one too - solid with a patterned fabric. I think I will make some variations on this one. But for this silk I will like to make it one fabric only to see the effect.
ReplyDeleteGeri, these are nice silhouettes, I would sew that in batiste or cotton and silk mix something light. Waiting for the final result.
ReplyDeleteI love it. I definitely prefer your sketch to all he designer photos!
ReplyDeleteSketch looks fantastic - can't wait to see it once it's sewn!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I can't wait to see these two blouses done!
ReplyDeleteI was browsing through Burda's archive and found this.
ReplyDeleteIt's not the same, but the concept is very similar. Your sketches are beautiful, I like them more than the Burda's model. Looking forward to see your creation.
Oooh I want the pattern for that sketch! Of course it would work, it will be very very beautiful, angelic!
